Abu Dhabi-listed NMDC Energy inaugurated its state-of-the-art fabrication yard in the Ras Al Khair Special Economic Zone, Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the company said this milestone marks a significant step in the company’s strategic efforts to strengthen its regional and global presence with investment value of AED 200 million.
The modern fabrication facility, spanning 400,000 square meters, is designed to provide a comprehensive range of fabrication services.
This includes the construction of offshore facilities and structures, as well as the design and assembly of modular (prefabricated) units onshore, with annual production capacity of 40,000 tons.
In line with NMDC Energy’s dedication to sustainable operations, the facility will feature safe and environmentally friendly production processes, integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
This underscores the company’s focus on operational excellence and its commitment to environmental responsibility.
This significant project highlights NMDC Energy’s steadfast commitment to innovation and its role as a key enabler of growth in the maritime and offshore industries, both regionally and internationally.
